Who is this for?

This course is for anyone who enjoys colour and wants to find a playful way of getting to know watercolour techniques. You might feel intimidated by this medium, if that’s the case then this workshop is for you! No experience is necessary, just be willing to sit, relax… and be playful!

This workshop is suitable for ages 16+ .

Basic drawing skills are desired but not required.

What to expect:

During this workshop I will start showing participants examples of the things they can create. I will then shown participants how to activate the pigments to start experimenting with watercolour paint. I will follow with a health and safety talk before mixing paint with household supplies, which will create interesting patterns and textures on the paper. You can bring a sketch or an idea, or find inspiration from my work and samples to create your own concept.

The session will take place in a fun and relaxed setting. Process over perfection, this workshop aims to inspire to carry on experimenting at home and to help you fall in love with the technique.
